It is unfair and unreasonable to expect an injured party to assimilate the concept of a structure at the same time as all of the complexities of final negotiations at mediation or a settlement meeting. The structured settlement concept should be explained in the comfort of the client's home or lawyer's office and we are willing to go to these locations and take the time to explain the concepts and benefits to the claimant in a low-stress setting.

- It also takes time to gather the medical information that could qualify the claimant for preferred lifetime rates. When an “impaired life rating” is issued by a Life Company it is valid for a full year of negotiations.
